I am so proud of this lovely decoration… Thank you, Your Majesty King Mohamed VI

Great news guys ! Fifteen years of dedication and love for the arts has won me the high honor of knighthood from our honorable king Mohammed VI.

Honestly, I can’t find the right words to describe how overwhelming that was. What can I say? I’ve never been happier, and most of all, I’m honored to be granted something that is a manifestation of my hard work and eternal love for music. I thank God for his endless blessings every single day. I also want to thank every single person that was there for me from the start: my family, my friends and my awesome fans! This one’s for you, guys!

I never thought I could make it this far, but that never stopped me from believing in what I do. Every artist I’ve ever met said to me something similar somewhere along the way, “You’re an international artist now. No matter what happens, you keep doing what you’re doing. And remember: We’re proud of you, and so is everybody in the crowd.” Thanks to my fans and my fellow artists’ support, I am where I am now. I remember recording “Come Alive” like it was yesterday. You guys need to check out its lyrics, especially if you’re into deep stuff, you know. My 4 favorite lines are:

I dedicate “Come Alive” to my beautiful country, Morocco, the best country in the world! Morocco has given me so much, and I owe it my life. I also dedicate this song to His Majesty, King Mohammed VI. His heart is filled with love and loyalty for this country. He never stops encouraging the youth to thrive, and where would we be without his continuous support to make Morocco one of the greatest countries ever? Long may he reign. I thank you again and again from the bottom of my heart. Your love and support mean the world to me!
